Description: We are excited to partner with Volunteer Managers of Central Iowa to sponsor the Better Impact and AL!VE Volunteer Management Hybrid Conference! Unlike traditional conferences, the VMHC offers a dynamic setup where expert speakers are streamed live, while local volunteer managers and nonprofit professionals come together to watch the broadcast toether, collaborate in facilitated workgroups, and engage in meaningful discussions with peers. This hybrid format blends the accessibility of virtual participation with the connection and energy of in-person interaction.

This year’s Hybrid Conference theme is “Show Them the Money.” The theme is designed to empower you, the volunteer engagement professional, to confidently showcase the tangible financial impact of your work. We know that volunteers create impact beyond dollars, and we want you to help your leadership truly understand the tangible financial value your program contributes to the organization.

The purpose of the Non-Profit SIG is to serve our communities and help enhance employee engagement at non-profit organizations in Central Iowa by offering high-quality leadership and personal development training at no cost to individuals who work for local non-profits. It is free to all nonprofit leaders, regardless of whether they have a membership with ATD.
