Research Informs Practice: Hits and Myths in Training and Learning

Presenter - Dan Topf

What if sound research doesn’t back up what we’re doing?  Let’s take a quick look at what research tells us about learning styles, Dale’s Cone, Bloom’s Taxonomy, SME’s, and more.  Let’s see how research informs our practice, and how training improves as a result.  Beware!  We may blow your mind!

After the session, you’ll be able to:

  1. Recognize the hits and myths in the training and performance research
  2. Apply the research findings behind many models, statements, and tools
  3. Integrate evidence-based practices into your training and learning projects
