Stan is back by popular demand! This session aims to equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to effectively use ChatGPT, Google Extensions, and other applications in the context of training. ChatGPT is a powerful language model that can facilitate interactive and engaging conversations. This training will explore the potential applications of ChatGPT in various instructional settings and how it can augment the learning experience for both instructors and learners.

 
Objectives:
• Demonstrating how to create interactive and dynamic conversations with ChatGPT.
• Teaching participants to guide the model effectively to ensure accurate and relevant responses.
• Using ChatGPT as a conversational partner for learners to practice language skills and subject-specific topics.
• Exploring existing Google Extensions and external sites that leverage AI and ChatGPT for training purposes.
• Hands-on training to integrate and customize Google Extensions and external sites for training content.

Facilitator Bio:

Stan is a Director of Instructional Technology and Design at Dean College, helping faculty and students get to the next level.  He has over 30 years of experience as an instructional technologist and trainer. He has a doctorate in education through the University of Wyoming. Author of 80 Ways to Use ChatGPT in the Classroom: Using AI to Enhance Teaching and Learning.
