This session will deliver a multimedia journey through the world of gamification that will include terminology, concrete gamification objectives, game theory and design, industry statics, learner benefits, and successfully implemented examples, all supporting the application of gamification in formal classroom, virtual, and online learning platforms. Not only will you learn the awesome benefits of gamification, you will also have the opportunity to put your game-loving mind into action with a hands-on workshop where you will take away a product to use to help get your organization's game on.

Presenter Bios

Sarah Onnen has been with Nationwide for ten years, with over eight of those years focused in adult learning as a trainer, designer, and developer. Sarah now creates online training as a Learning and Performance Specialist in agribusiness at Nationwide. she says the best part of her job is having the opportunity to teach so many different associates the skills that will be vital in their journey with nationwide, whether it is in person or online.

For over five years, Adam Rich has been helping Nationwide associates learn, grow, and develop through various roles in training facilitation and instructional design. Adam specializes in creating dynamic electronic learning solutions that are innovative, fun, and engaging.
