Organizational Facilitation - Processes and Tools for the Facilitator

Are you responsible for developing people? Would you like to learn new ways in how to reach your audience? Come learn several types of facilitator processes that can be used with management teams, employee groups, idea generation, and dialogue sessions to help employees connect to the organizations mission and values. You will learn what these processes are, in what situations to use them, and the role of the facilitator. This session will be engaging with results of you walking away with processes you can use immediately.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Define what organizational facilitation is.
• Identify a number of situations facilitators are faced with and the challenge to develop a process that will be of value.
• Review, brief engagement, and when to use the following processes:
• • Hurdles resolution
  • Mind mapping
  • World Café
  • The Six Conversations (by Peter Block from his book Community - the Structure of Belonging)

About Kevin:

Kevin Pokorny is a master trainer, sage advisor to leaders, professional facilitator, and speaker.   He is grateful for the long-term business relationships he has formed over more than 20 years in successfully connecting, collaborating and helping clients find creative solutions that work!  Kevin has worked collaboratively with a broad range of organizations including: financial and insurance institutions, agricultural industries, and manufacturers, senior care communities, small business owners, non-profits, local and state governments, health care agencies, educational institutions and professional associations.  One area of emphasis is teaching others the power of asking questions and incorporating mindfulness practices into one's leadership style and life.  He is President of the Des Moines West Side Chamber board.
