Bio
Alicia Vermeer serves as the Executive DIrector for Community Youth Concepts, a youth-serving nonprofit organization located in Des Moines, Iowa. Alicia started at CYC in 2012 as a summer intern and then returned to the organization as a full-time staff in 2016 as the Office and Program Coordinator. Outside of work, Alicia also serves on the Board of Directors for Volunteer Managers of Central Iowa, is a Co-Chair for the Polk County Suicide Prevention Coalition, and volunteers for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Iowa Chapter and Lead DSM's Youth Leadership Program.
