Topping off a fulfilling career in HR and Talent Development, Thom serves as a volunteer mentor for folks in those fields and also supports nonprofit leaders and entrepreneurs. He co-leads ATD’s Nonprofit SIG and serves on the Community & Programming Committee of CYC. As a University of Iowa staff member, Thom is enhancing the Nonprofit Leadership certificate program. He previously served at national, state, and chapter levels of ATD and SHRM. Thom has CNP and SPHR certifications and earned BBA and MA degrees from Iowa. He taught Needs Analysis, Evaluation, and Performance Improvement in the Graduate School of Education at Drake.
