Bio

Nicole (Nicci) Schmitt is a Learning & Performance Consultant with Nationwide Insurance. She has been with Nationwide for over 15 years, with roles in member services and training delivery before moving into her current focus of Consulting instructional design and curriculum development. Prior to entering the insurance world, Nicci was an Elementary Sp. Ed. Teacher. Her passion has always been in learning and development.

Nicci previously served as the President-Elect in 2021, and VP eMedia & Marketing 2018 - 2020. She enjoys working with the board to provide great opportunities for our Members while continuing to sharpen her leadership skills and talent development knowledge.

Nicci is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement. She is Kirkpatrick Bronze certified. She calls Ankeny, IA home with her husband Joe, son Mycah, and dog Wrigley.
