ATD University (ATDU)

Training budgets are tight everywhere, but probably even more so within non-profit organizations. In most cases, staff development takes a back seat to providing for the basic needs of Central Iowans.

As talent development professionals, we can help.

Each fall and spring semester, ATD representatives and a steering committee made up of non-profit leaders from Central Iowa select topics and host three training sessions associated with the following educational tracks:
•    Personal Development
•    Leadership Development
•    Wellness

Participants are limited to employees from participating non-profit agencies.

They provide the classroom space, and ATD members provide the training. It’s a great partnership, but it depends on one key ingredient: You!

Our Mission

To serve our communities and help enhance employee engagement at non-profit organizations in Central Iowa by offering high quality leadership and personal development training at no cost to individuals who work for local non-profits.

How Can I Get Involved?

Do you have an existing class you would be willing to facilitate for non-profit employees?
Send us your course information so we can put your session on the list of available topics.

Not sure what topics they need or want?
Send an email to commrelations@atdiowa.org if you can deliver training related to any of the three tracks listed above and we will help match your courses to non-profit needs.
